Bardstown To Bakersfield


  • 1.5 Oz Castle & Key Bourbon
  • 0.75 Oz Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 Cynar 
  • 0.5 Oz Lavender Simple* 
  • Dash of Jack Rudy Lavender Bitters (Optional)


Combine all ingredients into a tin shaker with ice, shake, double strain into a rocks glass, finish with a lemon twist and serve.  

*Lavender Simple

Combine 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar, and heat until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, add 1 Tablespoon of dried lavender, let steep for 2 minutes, strain off all solids, and let chill. Refrigerate for up to one week.
