Apple Ginger - Whiskey


  • 1.5 oz Restoration Rye Whiskey or Sacred Spring Vodka
  • 5 oz Mulled Cider* (can be served hot or cold)
  • Garnish with lemon peel if cold or cinnamon stick if hot



Combine all ingredients in a pot and simmer for 20 minutes. Strain off mulling spices and fruit. Refrigerate for up to one week.


*Mulled Apple Cider

  • 1 gallon local apple cider
  • 3 oz fresh ginger root (peeled and minced)
  • Peels from one whole orange and lemon
  • 12 cloves
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 teaspoon dried turmeric root
